Stef Francis is a business started by Stef about 20 years ago to produce hand dyed materials for creative embroidery.

At the time, Stef found that there were very few hand-dyed yarns and fabrics available to use in her City & Guilds course in Creative Embroidery, so she began producing her own.

The business started from this, and Stef was joined by her husband Sid, An electronics engineer, who designed and built the automatic skein winders and other production equipment.

Later, daughter Anna who studied art & craft at Coventry University joined the business, and is now in charge of sales.
